In July 2019, the Regional Hospice team was
honored to care for Bill Leverence during his end-of-life journey. Bill spent
eight days in the Center for Comfort Care & Healing surrounded by his
loving family. We consider ourselves fortunate to have cared for and supported
the Leverence family during this time.
Our 2021 golf tournament will pay tribute to Bill Leverence of Brookfield, Connecticut.
Bill was passionate about everything in his life, especially family, friends, music and sports. He brought his light and joy to coaching sons and friends in the community, bowling, playing in softball and basketball leagues, and of course—spending time swinging his golf clubs.
We hope you will join Bill’s family, friends and former band mates as we honor Bill’s love for life at the Salem Golf Club.
Our golf classic is an important gathering that raises essential funds to support the $1.1 million that Regional Hospice provides annually in free, un-reimbursed patient care and services. It will be a bright and lively day that helps Regional Hospice achieve our mission of approaching death by creating human connection and honoring each patient’s unique end-of-life journey.
